Account deletion

Delete your Villantra account

This page explains how to ask us to delete your Villantra account and the data linked to it, what we remove, what we are legally required to keep, and for how long. It applies to the Villantra provider app, the Villantra client app and the web platform.

How to request deletion

Handled by our team

Deletion is not automatic and there is no self-service delete button. Removing a Villantra account affects bookings, staff and invoices, so a person reviews every request.

  1. Email support@villantra.com

Send the request from the email address registered on the account. That is the first thing we check, so a request sent from another address will be slower.

  2. Use "Account deletion request" as the subject

It routes your message straight to the team that handles deletions rather than general support.

  3. Include your account details

Your full name, the email and phone number on the account, whether you are a client or a provider, and your business name if you are a provider.

  4. Confirm when we reply

We answer within 2 business days to verify that the request is genuinely yours. Once verified, we delete the account and email you when it is done.

Backups are overwritten on their own cycle, so a copy may persist in encrypted backup storage for up to a further 30 days before it is permanently gone.

Your data

What we delete, and what we have to keep

Deleted permanently

  • Your profile: name, email address, phone number and profile photo
  • Login credentials, sessions and notification tokens
  • Saved preferences such as language, region and appearance
  • Client accounts: your booking history, saved providers and favourites
  • Provider accounts: business profile, branches, service menus, working hours, uploaded documents and images
  • Staff accounts you created under your business
  • Your support conversations and marketing preferences

Kept, and why

DataRetention
Invoices, transactions and commission recordsTax and commercial law in Qatar and Algeria requires us to keep financial records.Up to 7 years
Records needed for an open dispute, chargeback or fraud investigationWe cannot resolve a case after deleting the evidence it depends on.Until the case closes, then up to 7 years
Reviews you left on a providerThey stay so other clients keep an accurate picture of that business, but they are detached from your identity.Kept, anonymised
Aggregated and anonymised analyticsThese carry no identifiers and cannot be traced back to you.Kept indefinitely

We never hold your card details. Card data is handled entirely by our payment processor, Tap Payments, and is tokenised. There is nothing on our side to delete, and removing your account does not affect your bank or card provider.

Before you ask us to delete

  • Deletion cannot be undone. Starting again means creating a new account from scratch.
  • Providers: settle any outstanding commission invoice first, or we will have to ask you to before we proceed.
  • Providers: your branches, services and the staff accounts under your business are removed with it.
  • Clients with upcoming bookings are notified and those bookings are cancelled.

If you only want to stop receiving messages or step away for a while, email us instead and we can pause the account rather than delete it.
